The Hills Recap + Fashion

I'm particularly excited about the fashion portion of this recap, so here we go :)

Keep Your Enemies Closer

The setup: Audrina and Justin Bobby are through? again? maybe?

The side story: Stephanie is the worst employee ever

Stephanie wants to stop stressing about work and focus on guys. She takes her own advice to heart and while Lauren is telling her what needs to get done before a shoot the next day she doesn't pay attention and then starts talking to her new crush on the phone. Looking forward to the disaster. Didn't have to wait long...Steph is on her lunch break when Lauren calls saying there's clothing missing from the bags Stephanie was supposed to pack. Naturally Steph rushes to help the situation by saying "Can't they use the stuff you have" and that she's on her lunch break so of course that means she can't move. With that kind of work ethic I think she'll have her own bag line in no time. On the bright side the guy she's having lunch with is cute. Now Lauren has to fire her...that'll be a fun episode.

Heidi is talking to her coworker. She's got so much things to do - get her nails done AND a new outfit. Stacie texted that she wants to meet up with Heidi and instead of ignoring her Heidi is going to go. When did these two exchange phone numbers? Heidi is waiting to be enlightened at Stacie's bar but instead they just exchange more niceties like "You're crazy" and "You're a slut". Reporting back on the events of the night Heidi says to Spencer that she "took care of it", it I guess being the Stacie problem. Spencer is as surprised as I was that Heidi joined the mafia.

Hawaii never seems to go away...now its Audrina and Justin's turn to talk about it. She and Justin haven't talked in a while but when she comes to see him in a restaurant Audrina is all business. He gets dumped without even getting a word in. I'd be pissed if I was walked out on like that so I totally understand why Justin follows Audrina to at least put his two cents in, but Audrina isn't having it. She tells him to grow up and that he was never really committed. I'm so confused over that relationship I don't know who's right but Justin is on point when he says if it was him spending the night with Lauren, Audrina would be beyond upset.

Now on to the fashion:

There was one look from the show that I'm so in love with it makes me wish I was crazy enough to buy $2300 shoes...yes I'm talking about Audrina's outfit when she dumps Justin Bobby. Before I go on, Lauren was wearing a boyfriend jacket and I've posted a few in an earlier blog entry.

Audrina is wearing a relaxed T-shirt, blue jeans and the most inconspicuous shoes of the season. Here's how you can recreate this:

  1. Aren't those Balmain Crystal Embellished Studded Sandals the most gorgeous things ever? If I had those, and the Balenciaga City Bag my life would most definitely be complete! :)

  2. Seriously-- why is Stephanie such an awful employee? It's so fake for a "reality TV" show. Either she's the worst actress ever, or she really IS that dumb.

  3. Cafe Fashionista - I literally could not look away as I watched the episode, the shined so bright I had to remind myself that I had to pay attention and recap :)

    Dream Sequins - I think she's not taking things seriously because she thinks she can turn The Hills into a lifetime career but there's no way she has the staying power of Speidi, and it really pains me to say this because those two are beyond ridiculous
