It's Fashion's Night Out Eve (I'm coining the term :) and my head is spinning from all the places I want to go to. Unfortunately I can't be in two places at the same time so it's time to make some very tough decisions. This time around I'm going to stick around downtown.
Here are the events on my radar:
There are three block parties this year! One on Bowery& Bond, another on Bleeker between Perry and West 4th, and finally the Mercer street block party. All offer up DIY, delicious food, discounts and more.
I'm intrigued by the French flea market at Opening Ceremony around 29th st and Broadway. I love flea markets but a flea market with designs by Alexander Wang & Rodarte??? That's just out of this world!
Shops in Meatpacking are also teaming up, there's a Scavenger Hunt with the opportunity to win a $5000 gift card.
After watching Janelle Monae on So You Think You Can Dance I became an instant fan and she'll be at the Ralph Lauren store on West Broadway.
Special shoutout to Stella McCartney for supporting the Chernobyl Children's Project. As a Chernobyl child myself it feels wonderful that someone is still shining a light on a catastrophe whose effects are still felt today.
