Fashion Review: Oscar's 2012

Who watched the Oscar's yesterday night? I must say it warmed my heart to see Billy Crystal on stage. My favorite moment however was seeing The Artist's doggy Uggie, in his bow-tie, enjoying the big win for Best Picture! When it comes to fashion, it was a safe night overall. Let's take a look!

Best Dressed

Emma Stone was lovely in a Giambattista Valli gown.
The bow added some drama to an otherwise simple, flowing dress.

Gwyneth Paltrow arrived in a Tom Ford dress and cape. Now this "best dressed" nomination
is for the dress sans cape. The cape makes her look like she's trying out to be a superhero.

Caught in the Middle

Cameron Diaz looked great in a very flattering Gucci

Angelina Jolie worked her Versace gown. My one complaint, if you're showing that much leg,
put on a great shoe, and not a plain pair of black peep toe's.

Natalie Portman took a small risk with a polka dot Dior.
I'm not a fan of the fabric but loved the shape.

Jennifer Lopez wore a Zuhair Murad with a plunging neckline that looked
like a wardrobe malfunction ready to happen. Ah, it's great to have J.Lo back!

I love the contrast of Rooney Mara's dark hair, porcelain skin and stark white dress.
The Givenchy gown may have had too much going on, but somehow it worked on Rooney.

Michelle Williams looked more like demure Audrey Hepburn than
Marilyn Monroe last night. Love the color on her, but not the bodice of this gown.

Worst Dressed

Stacy Keibler is stunning, which is why I'm so upset she chose this over the
top gown with a rosette to boot! You can do better Stacy!

Sandra Bullock's Marchesa dress must have looked beautiful on the hanger,
but it made Sandra look thick in the waist and there's nothing worse than that for an actress.

Penelope Cruz was a bit too matronly in Giorgio Armani
